I am also honoured and feel very privileged to work as the Principal of a DAV institution DAV Model Sr. Sec School, Kurali, SAS Nagar, Punjab. Let me take the opportunity to thank the Management (LMC) of this school for giving me opportunity to serve the community in this school. Here, we as a team impart high quality of education which motivates and empowers the students to be life long learners and the productive members of the society. Here the Education is not only just about the amount of information that is put into child’s brain, but rather an education that caters to the individual needs of our students in future. Our vision is that the students, after passing out from this institution, should go with specific mission. We have child-centred, balanced and structured curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education New Delhi. The teachers here are well experienced, qualified who are committed to supporting each students’ learning experience through quality instruction and guidance that addresses the needs of the individual child. Moreover, I believe that an education system that develops the imagination of the child is richer than the one that does not. The imagination is where new ideas are created and progress becomes possible. Imagination is more important than knowledge because knowledge is about what we really know, where as imagination is what moves individuals and culture forward. Imagination leads to innovation  we are focusing on different types of teaching methods like  play-way methods, new teaching aids, digital methods, smart classes and all required facilities. Here the security and and proper care of the students is always given priority. We always strive to build strong parent-teacher relationship, very much necessary for the academic success of our students. We truly have a fantastic school with a supportive and involved parent community, dedicated and highly skilled staff, excellent resources, building, the best transportation facility, and the most fantastic students to work with.
